The FDA New Era of Smarter Food Safety Top on E-Commerce: Making Sure the Safety of Foods Ordered Online and Delivered Directly to Customers will happen virtually October 19-21, 2021. The top is designed to help the agency enhance its understanding of how human and animal foods are sold through Service to Customer e-commerce designs throughout the U.S. and internationally. It is a chance for FDA to further our cooperation on food safety with our federal, state, local, and tribal regulative partners, and a broad array of stakeholders, consisting of market, customers, customer and public health companies, and academic community. The FDA intends to use what we discover during the public meeting, and from comments submitted to the Federal Register, to help identify what actions, if any, may be needed to keep consumers safe.
