We travelled the world to meet the best in biomechanics and anatomy and the leading modern and indigenous shoe makers – like the Saami of Northern Finland with their Reindeer Moccasins and the San bushmen of the Kalahari who make sandals out of Eland skin to protect their feet from 40°C sand and camel thorns. Instead of Eland skin, we invented our own patented puncture resistant sole… for maximum sensory feedback with protection.

Vivobarefoot launched in 2012 as a stand-alone brand. Since then we have sold over 1 million pairs of shoes. We have made a positive EBITDA for the last 2 years and are growing at 30% per year.
Our plan will deliver and increase in turnover from £9.5m this year to £29m in 2019.
We will invest in an upgraded global eCommerce experience, backed up by an enhanced in-store experience. We will grow our Kids’ range and continue investment in sustainable shoe making.
