OKAY … I have another great find from Aldi. Chocolate Chip Brioche! How bad could it be? Actually … okay at all! And the fact of the matter is … I am now addicted!!! It is so GOOD! Had a piece last night, toasted with some butter on it, while seeing TELEVISION. Needed to go get a second piece! Went to sleep thinking about it. (This is insane!).
It is imported from France and has 130 calories per piece. And after that I questioned what else I might finish with it. It would certainly make a fantastic bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. And how about a grilled cheese sandwich? I understand … sounds a bit goofy! Make a sandwich with the brioche: spread whipped cream cheese inside with some sliced strawberries and a sprinkling of chopped nuts and prepare as you would a grilled cheese sandwich. I’ll have to attempt it! Stay tuned!
