Thanks Shopping Cart Person

On February 18, 2016, at approximately 7:15 p.m., 26-year-old Cody Jaye Lindsay was jailed on a charge of Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Interfering with a Peace Officer and a parole infraction. Lindsay was arrested after East Precinct officers saw him jaywalk throughout Southeast 82nd Avenue near Foster Roadway, nearly being struck by several motorists. When officers contacted him in the parking lot of the Fred Meyer shop, Lindsay removed running once again into the Fred Meyer store. As officers chased him through the store, an unknown buyer rolled his shopping cart into the course of the running away suspect, causing him to crash onto the flooring, which permitted officers to capture up and take him into custody. The suspect was not hurt throughout his encounter with the shopping cart. The unknown consumer retrieved his cart, picked up his groceries, and continued shopping. The officers wanted to thank him for compromising his groceries to stop a getting away suspect.
