Fake reviews are a huge issue on Amazon. There are Facebook groups where bad stars get paid positive evaluations to bots and click farms that upvote unfavorable reviews in an effort to take out competitors. These illegitimate evaluations can boost sales of risky products and injure service for genuine sellers, triggering brand names like Nike and Birkenstock to sever ties with Amazon.
Regardless of all the fake evaluations on Amazon, there are experts who earn a living evaluating items. Sean Cannell makes 10s of countless dollars a month as a professional Amazon reviewer. He is part of the Amazon Affiliate program and evaluates cam equipment on his Think Media YouTube channel. Cannell makes a cut of every sale those evaluations creates on Amazon.com.
Meanwhile, Walmart is seeking to overtake Amazon’s dominance in e-commerce as increasingly more buyers take their business online. This is why Amazon dominates online shopping.
